The India–EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) entered into force on 1 October 2025, covering Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein.
Swiss and Norwegian industrial buyers of castings, machined gears, and precision components can now benefit from preferential duty treatment on imports from India — a structural change that came into effect less than one year ago.
Switzerland's precision machinery and watchmaking-adjacent industrial sector, and Norway's oil and gas equipment and marine sectors, are primary buyers of the precision components Synergy Spark supplies.
